Pele always had a feeling there was a place for her, and couldn't find it.
So she set off with her brothers the Shark Gods and went on her Search. She carried her suster, Hi'iaka in an egg so she'd be safe, and could be born when they arrived.
They searched and searched, finally ending up on Hawaii's Big Island, where Hi'iaka was born and...well, there's more, but not here!
